Terraxis SRL is a public-benefit trade infrastructure company that turns environmental and
human rights due diligence requirements into operational systems for importers, exporters,
cooperatives, and agricultural supply chains. We combine proprietary compliance technology
with specialist advisory services to help organizations navigate increasingly complex
sustainability regulations without disrupting trade.

Founded by Abshir Ahmed after fifteen years working across international development,
humanitarian protection, and digital governance, Terraxis was built around a simple
observation: as regulatory demands grow, the actors with the least capacity to respond are
often those most critical to global agricultural trade.

The gap is acutely visible for cooperatives, smallholder farmers, exporters, and importer
SMEs, where the challenge is rarely a lack of commitment to responsible trade. It is the
growing distance between increasingly complex regulatory expectations and the operational
realities of producing, aggregating, and moving goods across borders. As that gap widens,
compliance risks becoming a barrier to participation rather than a pathway to market access.
Today, our proprietary compliance workstation, Plotra, supports coffee and cocoa supply
chains by transforming fragmented geospatial and production data into traceable, audit-
ready workflows for regulations such as the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Alongside
this, Terraxis provides Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and
human rights due diligence advisory services across agricultural and global value chains,
helping organizations embed responsible sourcing into procurement and supply chain
operations.

Terraxis brings together expertise spanning regulatory compliance, human rights due
diligence, geospatial analysis, agricultural systems, cooperative development, and data
engineering. This interdisciplinary approach allows us to design solutions that are legally
robust, technically reliable, and operationally grounded in the realities of agricultural trade.
Alongside this, Terraxis extends its infrastructure into sourcing relationships through the
Terraxis Sourcing Model, built on the same operational records used in cooperative trade
workflows.

Terraxis positions itself as the working interface between two realities: growing accountability
demands in destination markets and the operational complexity of production at origin. In
that interface, we test a simple proposition every day:
 Compliance keeps trade moving.
 Legibility includes, rather than excludes.
 Visibility belongs to those who produce—not only to those who regulate or purchase.

Our principles are reflected in the way we design technology, deliver advisory services, and
work alongside supply chain partners.
